As it is Monday, I indicated that I would post the results of the 7 day fat loss boot camp I have been doing this last week. I was very pleased not only with my results, but with how I felt throughout and after the last week. The week’s efforts result in the loss of 2.8 kilograms and 1% fat lost putting me at 95.3 kg and 16.5% body fat. It was a tough week as I definitely experienced ebbs in energy levels especially on the very low carb days. All in all I feel very good and can definitely feel the beneficial effects from this past week. This time it was not quite as difficult as the first time I attempted this program a couple of months ago. It will be at least 6 weeks before I attempt another one which is the recommended minimum time suggested before attempting it again.
From this point I go into maintenance mode and will be spending some time in transition into the Winter season as I working a off season training program and set some goals for the near and long term. One of the goals I have set for next season is to add the Cascade Bicycle Club’s Ride to Seattle, Vancouver and Party (RSVP) in August. This means that next year my cycling event plans will include the Seattle To Portland ride(STP), RSVP ride and the 25 annual BC Lung Association Bicycle Trek for Life and Breath.
For rest of this week I am on vacation and will take the time to rest, recharge and try to recover from the stress of work that has been getting too me of late. Then I move forward toward new fitness, health and weight/fat loss goals and transition into an off season training program. One of the goals I had set for this year was to commute by bike through the winter and have already been preparing toward this goal.
